howdy guys, welcome to july. I appreciate y’all letting me take last week off – the month of june was a swift kick in the ass for me, and for most of us, I’d say. as 2025 progresses, I feel that none of us themselves are immune to the saturn-neptune conjunction – especially not me. I’ve been feeling the depths of hopelessness and doubt. the tenacity of aries and my 7th house helps combat this, but it is a part of my daily reality that I want to recognize and maybe recognize in you, if you are finding yourself in the pits with a rage of injustice like I am. I am watching this transit closely, especially as we go into july, but it’s been spotlighted by some of the transits we’ve had this past week. last week, notably, mercury moved into leo, we had a huge new moon in cancer, and mercury opposed pluto, along with lots of trines and sextiles trying to bolster the energy. a tomato plant fruits before it’s ripe or even big enough to be fruiting, expending its energy shockingly and exhaustingly. dreams of picking fruit off of lemon trees succumbing to death from their overabundance, begging to be made into lemonade, dancing and weaving the reception of sour and sweet into a dreamscape reality. june was about pruning, and july is a neglected, overgrown raised bed with a boisterous animal nest hidden within, mama ready to attack if intruded upon. how deep do those roots go before they’re ripped out? this week may hint at the answer.
this week is really important, punctuated with yet another major outer planet ingress for the year, and one that has a lot to say. venus is busy this week, changing signs to get exploratory and acrobatic and touching base with uranus, saturn, and neptune. clown summer has begun, if she has anything to say about it. this week’s song is Your Best American Girl by Mitski… in an unfortunate turn of events, lol. let’s look at the week ahead.
